Prior to
any development not only does the land need to be surveyed but
the developer will require the scheme to be set-out on the ground.
The developer
supplies us with the scheme map in digital format. We then upload
the data to out Total Stations and GPS and proceed to set out
the required points on the ground. Typical setting out would
include all roads, building positions and site boundaries.
We are able to set out with great speed and efficiency.
It is not unusual for us to set out a 50-house development in
one day. A developer would take weeks to do that same volume
of work
It has become imperative that all
developers use a professional surveying company to set out their
scheme. The cost of ones day's setting out is minimal compared
to the cost of legal proceedings in a lengthy boundary dispute
case.
Not only do we offer setting out but also as construced surveys
and legal boundary mapping for land registry purposes. It is
important that, the site that is being lodged within the PRA,
is an accurate representation of the as constructed position.
